Alliance was established on March 7, 2006
and still has three of its original members,
Dustin Bearden, Bill (BT) Thomas and Jeff
Smith. Keith Wix was recently chosen as our
new lead singer, replacing Mark Carlisle,
who left to join the group Image in
December. Alliance has also enjoyed
the singing abilities of Eric St. Clair and
Nick Trammell in our brief history.
Alliance consists of members whose combined
experience totals more than 50 years.
Our members have also performed with several
different groups through the years,
including Providence, Narrow Way, The New
Florida Boys, The Mark Blackwood Quartet,
Sacred Harvest, The Heritage Quartet, The
Masters Messengers, Pure Heart, Compassion,
Assurance, The Joymen, The Regents, and The
Harmony 4.
Alliance performs a wide variety of music,
most of which is traditional Southern
Gospel. We do not limit our singing to
churches only. We welcome the
opportunity to sing in public venues, family
reunions, weddings, or whatever the
occasion. If you are interested in
booking Alliance, please contact Denise
Alverson at 256-479-3551. We try to
come on a love offering basis, but given
travel expense, distance and fuel costs, a
minimum fee may be necessary. Our
group sings on a part-time basis, and all of
our members hold full time jobs, so our
singing is not for the purpose of monetary
profit, although we do have expenses that
must be met. Alliance is looking to
have a great year in 2011, and we hope to
have the opportunity to sing in new places
and meet many new people.
